About Sheldon Medical Supply
From the 1950's to Today...
Sheldon's Drugs of Yale, Michigan was founded in the mid 1950's by Dale Sheldon, RPH. From a modest beginning, it became a cornerstone for Healthcare Services in the Thumb area of Michigan. In 1988, Sheldon's Drugs purchased Atkins Pharmacy And Medical Supply in Sandusky, Michigan. Tim Sheldon, RPH., Dale Sheldon's son was selected to manage the business. The growth of the business has been fast and furious with new branches added in Bad Axe (1990), Marysville (1991), Caro (1995), Saginaw (1997), and Marlette (2003). All branches are well established today.
In 1992, Dale Sheldon sold Sheldon Pharmacy And Medical Supply to Tim Sheldon. At that time, TDS Pharmacy was developed and incorporated. TDS Pharmacy, Inc. also does business as Sheldon Medical Supply. With that transition, State of the art computer technology was sought and achieved. Saginaw came aboard in February 1997. This location has become a major hub for the company. We look for new opportunities of future growth and development in other areas.
